Educational sessions are a wonderful source of information, but we all know the social and networking opportunities at our events are what make the CIWA community so close-knit.
We mentioned wild adventures, but what can be so wild about insurance wholesalers? How about snake handling insurance wholesalers and industry representatives? To keep with our Safari theme, at the Future Cocktail reception, CWID attendees had the privilege of viewing and even handling a variety of reptiles.
On Tuesday, while many of the attendees networked on the golf course, others bonded at the San Diego Safari Park, where they got up close and personal with Quilma the Porcupine (yes, she is married to Fred!), the cutest Red River Hog you’ve ever seen, and David Boa (the Boa Constrictor, obviously). After lunch, we had time to explore the park and enjoy the open marsupial area, all while learning new facts about these beautiful creatures.
Don’t believe that Industry Days attendees handled snakes? Take a peek at this link to see your favorite CIWA pals playing golf, soaking in those panel discussions, and yes, handling snakes! If you have pictures you would like to share, please email them info@ciwa.net.
Now, what you have been waiting for… Who won the golf tournament awards!? Congratulations to all our winners and thank you to everyone that participated! The XPT sponsored golf experience was enhanced by the delicious beverage cart provided by Nautilus, and the Hole in One competition sponsored by USLI.
