    Bayonet and Black Horse re-opened in December 2008 after a $13 million renovation by Bates Golf Design Group (Gene Bates). Both courses underwent dramatic view-shed alterations and hole re-routings to reveal new, breathtaking ocean vistas and improved playing options (including new bentgrass greens). They were included in Golf Digest’s “Best New Courses” issue for 2009 in the ultra-competitive “Remodel” category.  $275 per person
  • Kayaking Adventure (9:30 AM)
    Spend your morning with sea lions, otters, seals, and other marine wildlife – oh my! We will meet up with our guides on the beach directly below the hotel, gear up, and head out on the water for 2 hours of adventure. In addition to kayaks, splash pants and dry bags are included. AND if you want to go back out on the water in the afternoon, the kayak is yours all day! $100 per person

    Visit the Vista Blue Spa, located on the top floor of the Monterey Plaza Hotel, with one-of-a-kind views of the Monterey Bay. Choose between a 50-minute classic massage or a 50-minute classic facial. Price includes gratuity. Availability is limited – First come first serve. $205 per person

• • Tuesday Lunch at Osteria Al Mare (12:30 PM)
    Enjoy a two-course lunch on the edge of the pier, a short 5-minute walk from the hotel. Catch up with friends and /or network over lunch at Osteria Al Mare. Osteria Al Mare offers a wonderful variety of traditional Italian cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and the freshest, local ingredients available. Price includes tax and gratuity. $70 per person
